Is there a free way to check for outdated drivers? MY dvd-rom and cd drives do not work at all. How 2 solve? - dvd repair is it expensive

None of my discs will not work. Used to start automatically when I put a disc and nothing more. I can not even work using Run on the Start program. The system is not even recognized that they are still there. E and F. What can I do but take my computer to the repair cost available? Please help if you have no idea. It is a bit complicated, so try to confirm the file Deleter. If you delete the wrong file, you will spoil the whole team.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type regedit
