Catscan showed no stroke, etc. Any other cause of slurred speech, memory loss, and confusion? It was not alcohol! - stroke loss of speech

My sister woke up the other day and could not remember all our names. I could not understand his speech. Understand after 10 minutes, but was a little confused, said she felt her mind confused. She is 31 and was not drunk or using drugs. We wanted to go to the emergency room, but we took 2 hours to go. No stroke, tumors, or the doctor can find nothing. We do not know what the cause of this episode. In the afternoon he felt good. You wonder if anyone else has seen this before. What could cause it?

Something similar happened to me. My doctor prescribed exclude carotid Doppler TIA (mini stroke), which was negative. I was finally diagnosed with an optical migraine. I could not think of simple words, someone describe how to leave the house on the street, I felt not even in my own body. My face and my arm numb. I'm only 32 now it was about 2 years ago and since then never happens again.

Wow .. You should see a doctor. I'm not sure that Yahoo! Answers is the best place to watch people.
I want the best. :)

Had a fit of absence? Do they have an EEG? Good luck finding the answer. Perhaps it was a virus or maybe stress? I know that stress can make things very bad for the body. Take care. I hope you find the answer.

This is not an unusual consequence of the seizure Grand ... Control needs a lot more studies to determine the cause .. If this is the first episode of this event?

This could be a transient ischemic attack (TIA), but because it took so long to get to the hospital, tests were negative. There is no information at this site:

Obviously, your sister is very nervous. should consider yoga, meditation, deep relaxation techniques.
