Roller Fairlead How Is A C-clip Installed On A Shaft End?

How is a c-clip installed on a shaft end? - roller fairlead

I get the c-clip on the 3 / 4 "hoist shaft (my role rope) with my c-clamp clip, but it's not back. I do a lot of the printer repairs and brakes, but this size is not happen again. It is too narrow. I guess that the class-8 and the release of tweezers to open enough to return. no advice for or cares I cursed axes Chuck Winch: drill and tap, then just bolt disc at one end.

Thanks
James B

I-axis of the machine simply for reasons of technology. If possible, try to use a set of vise grips to hold the place (if possible), where the clip is forced, and they accordingly in an apartment or a tool. It should not be so difficult. You can also try a longer clip that can hold events for a larger meter, and then it takes a little work to install, you will probably not be the trick.

I have always replaced by the open end of the C-clip into the slot, while the tree is available. Then you simply tap the center of the caliper with a hammer and brass punch and watch the expansion and modernization of the slot.
